Ganci’s Super Deli – Est. 1926

In the 1970s, Joe Sanfilipo came to work for our family store, Ganci’s Super Deli. Along with him came his famous BBQ sauce. My father, Mr. Dick Ganci installed a char pit grill at the grocery store and we used the BBQ sauce on ribs, chicken wings, and steak sandwiches.

Shortly after Joe came to work for us, he unexpectedly passed away. We continued the tradition of using his BBQ sauce in his honor. To this day Ganci’s Famous BBQ sauce is used not only by the families from the West Side that grew up with it but many families all over.
